ABOUT ME

Elisabeth and I met as Peace Corps Volunteers working in Ukraine. She currently supports international research programs at Tufts University while I work as a gardener at the Arnold Arboretum.

More about us...we enjoy simple things, friendly people, and out of the way places. We are relaxed, welcoming, and cheerful, and more than happy to share beers/food/ and our home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've both surfed throughout Eastern Europe as well as a bit in Belize. We hosted quite a few surfers passing through Belize and Guatemala and have loved hosting, particularly when we have time to hang out .

Interests

Elisabeth and I like activities that keep us moving as well as volunteer opportunities that provide chances to work with different people. We're both interested in conservation, sustainable living, photography, writing, and gardening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend and I were traveling through Romania and took a nice hike up into some hills . On the top, we found dozens of huge and beautiful oak trees scattered in a large field...sitting together on a 400 year old oak stump, being passed by a herd of sheep with their whistling shepherd, was a pretty great afternoon for me.
