ABOUT ME

I am really laid back, and am in love with life. I have a wicked/awesome/bizarre sense of humor and love conversations about politics, education, traveling, nature and philosophy. I'm currently a student in math, exchanging for a semester in Miami, FL (from Canada). This education will hopefully lead to a totally unrelated position as a permanent traveller in some capacity.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to try and learn as much as I can. I love to learn anything and everything about the world, and I think I will be a student for life. I think that the world was made for spirited discussions and spirited enjoyment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Myself and my roommate host people whenever we can. I would like to get more out of couchsurfing if possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Myself and my roommate have hosted just one pair of couchsurfers, who were from Colombia, and were awesome to have around!

兴趣

Anything related to, or involving politics, math, astronomy, classical music, or traveling is likely to pique my interest. The wilder the opinion, the better. Right now, most of my time is spent on studying math, politics, and history. If I had more time, however, it would probably mostly go to pints & live music, learning new languages, reading, classical concerts, beach visits, hiking, the list goes on.

Music? I love alternative rock, and classical music, and the occasional techno song. Movies, I love documentaries and good comedies, as well as my guilty pleasure of really, really bad horror movies.
Books? I recently lost the ability to read new novels from having so much reading to do from classes, but when I do read it's usually science fiction or canadian fiction.

The sunrise over the harbor in Hamburg, Germany, was incredibly beautiful. The magic of the city of Ottawa, Canada; every time I go there I feel a little awestruck at how awesome the place is.
