About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See as much Japan and learn as much Japanese as possible.
ABOUT ME
I have a lot of energy and I tend to be dramatic and silly. But I don't really cause drama, just over exaggerated reactions for humorous effect. I wield two passports, as my mother is Irish and my father is American.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to travel, but I prefer to live in a culture to truly experience it, for extended periods of time.
Find what makes you happy. Then do it. Just make sure it's not something that hurts other people. Then see a therapist.
I don't like getting too bogged down with things. I'm not going to pretend I don't like the occasional gadget or toy, but in generally, the less I get weighed down, the better. Since I've moved around a few times, I just end up selling or giving them away anyway. Things can be bought, but good experiences and happy memories are priceless.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
You like singing? I do. I love Karaoke! I also can eat pretty much anything and open to eat anything. Raw fish? No problem? Vegetarian? Vegan? No sweat! Insects? Ehhhh... if that's your thing and you say it's good...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to the couchsurfing game, but I promise to be fun and flexible.
Interests
I love singing and karaoke. While I like to travel, I generally prefer to live somewhere rather than visit for a week or so. Still, I like visiting places within the country I'm in, or other countries that are relatively close. I like video games, and some anime and manga. I'm trying to learn Japanese at the moment and I can speak a bit of Spanish and a few words of French. ありがとございます! I also like theater and improvisational comedy, both of which I have done in the past.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in two countries. Sure traveling to a lot of countries is one thing, living there for an extended period of time, really embracing the culture is another. I've seen Japanese rockabillies, and participated in singing an a few songs in a traditional Irish set, albeit a little drunk. It was great.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach English as a foreign language, so if you want to improve your English, I can totally help you there. I also like learning languages and am learning Japanese, Spanish and French.
