ABOUT ME

So I am a Canadian living an working in Germany for the last 8 years. I am no stranger to travelling even if I don't do it as often as I should could would whatever. I'm pretty chillin and while all my colleagues were laughing at CS I was thinking that's the coolest thing I have ever heard of.

Right now I am trying to discover eastern europe in all its glory...I want to live and breathe the history but also the future and potential of this lovely place...

honest, fair, loves a good discussion on just about anything just as long as it remains a discussion and doesn't regress...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

couch is available and I would like to take advantage of a couch somewhere...have decided to start going to the meetings in cologne...was just at one in sofia and it was amazing - hope my home town of choice can do the same...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in Boston visiting a german girl who was an Au Pair (I ended up moving to Germany for said girl - it lasted about 5 years) and I didn't have a place to stay. I was walking alone the beach of a lake (I think) north of boston (Salem) when a guy saw me and asked if I wanted a beer. They were going to have a party and I was early. I explained my situation and he said why don't you stay here. In this big old mansion cottage thing. I stayed about a week because they wouldn't let me leave.. what an experience.
