ABOUT ME

I'm a carbon-based bipedal life form, usually covered in bike grease. I just moved back to Oakland, CA after over a year abroad living in Taiwan and China, then traveling through Europe. I like to go to restaurants and bars! Go to concerts, hang out in the park, go on awesome bike rides and hikes. I love camping and the outdoors. I am also an intern with the National Park Service. I work in the Presidio Park in San Francisco. It is a beautiful piece of nature inside SF city limits.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The last greatest CS experience I had was in Moscow in June 2012. I arrived to my New Zealander host's flat, and 20 minutes later another CSer from Belgium arrived. Ends up the NZ host was way too busy to with work, so he was gracious enough to just hand his apartment keys over to me and this Belgium traveler and the two of us just had a blast all over Moscow for 3 days. We were sorry that we could not hang out with the New Zealander, but that is the amazing thing about CS, the trust and camaraderie in letting complete strangers stay at your house. I LOVE IT FOREVER!!!

Biked from Taipei to Yilan through the mountains on HWY 9, and then back to Taipei along the ocean on HWY 2. It was Great!!!

Ridin the Trans-Siberian Railroad

Biked over the Italian Apls to Germany.
