Very cheerful, laid back and well traveled extrovert. Devout buddhist, pharmacist in training, and a passionate student of philosophy and science.

Apologies for the short description, but it's either that or the complete opposite! I don't think one can be summed up in a mere box unless it is either short and to the point or covers one's entire life story. As I haven't the time for the latter, I'll go with the former.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel and connect with the truly honest, good people who aren't afraid to do the same. In my experience, this has been everyone on CS so far.

Books: Ishmael (Daniel Quinn), Art of Happiness (Epicurus), Flow (Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi), The Name of the Wind (Patrick Rothfuss), Buddha's Brain (Rick Hanson), American Gods (Neil Gaiman), The Power of Habit (Charles Duhigg), The Happiness Hypothesis (Jonathan Haidt), Botany of Desire (Michael Pollan), The Heart of the Buddha's Teachings (Thich Nhat Hanh), Into the Wild (Jon Krakauer), and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams)

Music: I'm terrible when it comes to remembering artists or pinning down my musical tastes, but I lean towards things on the smoother, laid back part of the spectrum. Jazz, funk, and smoother electronic music like Daft Punk come to mind. Then again, I also dig classic rock, the occasional pop hit. As long as it isn't cringeworthy country or rap, I'll listen to almost anything.

Education! I have a lifelong passion for learning and ultimately wish to become a professor. If there is any part of science, philosophy, or Buddhism you want to learn more about, I'd be happy to impart.
