CURRENT MISSION

I'm in the middle of a 6000km bicycle ride from Istanbul to Kyrgyzstan, with a good friend. We hope to meet as many interesting people on the way as possible!

ABOUT ME

I'm born and raised in a little town in the Netherlands, studied in Amsterdam, Italy and London and travelled a lot of other places on 6 continents. I'm now living in Washington DC and work for the World Bank. I am looking forward to meeting great people, learning about new food, new music, and exchanging stories!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm currently cycling the Silk Road from Istanbul to Bishkek.

I also quite liked crossing the border between Colombia and Panama on a little broken boat, and having to be rescued by the Panamanian navy.
