ABOUT ME

I'm one of those people who hate questions like this, so I asked a friend. Alex described me as friendly (though not bubbly), curious, loyal, and willing to give up my last dime for the people I love. I'm not sure if any of those things will make me a good houseguest, but there you go!

Interests

I love traveling and have been bouncing around the world for about 15 months. I've traveled through Southeast Asia and the Middle East during that time. I also love politics and will begin a graduate program in international relations this fall. I'm an avid reader, runner, scuba diver, movie buff, and vegetable lover. I also have a keen interest in brunch- it is by far the best meal of the day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1- Hiking in the desert in Wadi Rum, Jordan. I've never seen such incredibly natural beauty or experienced utter silence like that before.

2- Gibbon Experience in Laos. Nothing beats zip lining through the jungle- except Wadi Rum apparently.

3- Driving through the mountains in northern Iraq up to the Iranian border just because we could.
