After 4 years in Iceland, I've decided it's time for a really big adventure. I booked a one way ticket to Poland, but I have no plans beyond that. Possible destinations include; Ukraine, Georgia, Serbia, Bosnia, Moldova Turkey and Romania. I'd love to meet travelers and locals along the way, so feel free to mail me if we're on the same part of the planet.
I describe myself as a free-spirited, an idealist and a dreamer. I love all things quirky and offbeat. I love imperfections. I am not materialistic. I try to get by with very little and I always travel light.
I don't like to stay in one place for a long time. I like when life is unpredictable. My greatest fear is settling for a mundane or a "normal" life.
Rationality is over-rated, the best things in life are irrational.
I value every moment and every breath I take. I live for the moment and hopefully leave some footprints when I'm gone.
Exploring the world, cycling, skiing, political theory, social justice, my PhD.
I love to find common ground with people who have different backgrounds and worldviews from my own. I believe that everybody can connect on some level.
I hate to confirm stereotypes but I love Guinness
I'm madly in love with my job, a PhD in Disability studies. I enjoy talking about politics and social issues.
