In a few words, I appreciate beautiful creation, good friends, and transcendent experience. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am more of a mystic, which I like to define as one who communicates with the divine reality within and without ones being. I like to meditate to clear then re-create myself, I like to be enraptured by music--from orchestral to progressive to soundscapes, and I am captivated by visual art that connects hearts/minds and explores all realms of Beauty.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This community is a brilliant idea and phenomenon. I am very interested in couchsurfing with kind and free-spirited folk, expanding my network of contacts, and creating inspiring and intellectually stimulating atmospheres with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really need to update this section. I had a wonderful couchsurfing experience with quite a few people on my way out to a Vipassana retreat in Cali January 2012, though it was my travel buddy's CS profile that we used, so it would be nice to meet some cool people in this community and get a few more references while I'm at it. :)

Intereses

Spirituality: compassion, lovingkindness, wisdom, tranquility, beauty, meditation, NDEs/OoBEs, neuroscience.
Music: guitar!, orchestra, jazz, prog rock, free improv, the voice.
Art: colored pencils, polymer clay sculpting, divine feminine/masculine.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I really liked climbing Bell Rock in Sedona, Arizona. It is ecstatically gorgeous up there, but one must use caution in climbing its very steep parts!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I teach electric & classical guitar, rhythm, and music theory! I really enjoy creating atmospheres of music, color, meditation, and inspired conversation with friends. I am currently putting together my own music set of orchestral/progressive music on my 8-string guitar. I independently study art, and I love to sketch wherever I am and with others who inspire the creative process. I have much to share from studying the wisdom of the Sages, as well as a bit of neuroscience & NDEs/OoBEs.
