HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just created this profile to try it out as I get myself from Chico, CA to Fargo, ND in the next few days! Hopefully people will take me in for a night here and there. I also hope that it works out great and this is the beginning of a long couchsurfing relationship!

Interests

I am an outdoor educator, so I am always on the move and often outside. I love to backpack/hike, rock climb, raft, kayak, canoe, and anything else fun in nature. I also love film, water coloring, I'm learning to play the guitar, and I follow a few sports teams from where I grew up. I am as comfortable in a city as I am in the wilderness, although I prefer the latter these days.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of movies... mostly thought provoking. I listen to a wide variety of music from rap to acoustic singer/songwriter stuff. I admittedly don't read enough books, but I did really enjoy the Hunger Games series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just rafted 225 miles of the Colorado River through Grand Canyon!

In my life I am constantly striving to better myself and I am always trying to learn new things. Currently I am learning to play the guitar! I am a teacher of lots of things. Outdoor technical skills to Compassion and forgiveness. Water coloring to facilitation of games.
