ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old student at UC Berkeley studying Engineering. I am energetic, personable, and love to talk or debate about anything and everything. In addition to this I love any sort of activity or competition. I truly hate to sleep and would rather spend every minute enjoying life. I am passionate about environmental stewardship and adventuring in the great outdoors.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing not only to pay it forward for all the incredible people out there who have helped me out, but to interact and experience travel from a whole different perspective. I have found personally that I enjoy learning the backgrounds, struggles, and accomplishments of the people of each place rather than facts about a place itself. Plus, local tips and insight is always the best!

兴趣

I generally love anything and everything but especially adventures. My specific interests are rock climbing, slack lining, backpacking, hiking, surfing, wakeboarding, and mountaineering. I love to be outside and build. I am a huge fan of natural building and sustainable materials.

Started a Solar Decathlon team at my University. This is a competition team that builds a net zero energy consuming house from scratch. I have learned to deal with funding, building codes, innovative design, and more.

I can teach and share some tips, tricks, and information regarding living sustainably through nutrition, energy usage, and household supplies. I can share some great DIY tricks for cleaning supplies, paint, toothpaste, ect... to make life healthier for yourself and the environment.

I can share a positive outlook on life. I am willing to argue, discuss, or appreciate any aspect of life. I believe I can offer a unique perspective to most conversations. In addition, I have a technical background in which I can share. This includes help fixing, renovating, and even making more environmentally friendly decisions around the house. Most of all, I am outgoing and know how to have a good time.
