Served in US Navy for 4 years

Moved too sunny San Diego 3 years ago and looking forward to the next step which is traveling, learning languages and cultures, and possibly living overseas very soon.

I'm a Gemini, if that means anything and obsessed with trying to make people around me feel relaxed, comfortable, and open by not being judgmental, smiley and an attentive listener. Being a Gemini I have the other side of me too which loves time alone so that I may daydream about grand things in the world.

I like to drink socially or by myself(not an alcoholic...really) and just quit smoking cigarettes

I love critical thinkers, someone that can raise a question in my mind. I'm a "try to break it down" kinda guy. I will try anything once at least....sometimes two or three times because nothing stays the same..right-o-.

Seriously, life moves too fast to get caught up on things you have no control over. Just enjoy what comes and if it is not enough, find more :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience couch surfing except on a friends couch here and there....maybe enough to count on one hand in my whole life....I have always been the type never wanting to impose and always took care of my own needs or immersed myself in the environment.

Music Music Music!!!
..so I'm big on music...but not in a traditional sense where I know the history of every artist, know each and every label...no
I just like good, NEW music. If I haven't heard it and it is good....then it's good. How can one interpret taste well enough to articulate their music choices?
I am constantly collecting new and interesting music from all genres, something in which I am happy to trade limited amount with friends.
I DJ from time to time so giving away all my good tracks is not likely but still.....will share with those that appreciate music.
I am a bartender by trade and have been in restaurant management for years, but currently just bartending and going to school full time to teach English as a second language. Doesn't look like I am finishing school so plan on just leaving.
I am very much into being in the outdoors,and have been camping and hiking a lot in my early years so survival is a passion of mine that has recently been reignited.
One of my main interests is learning from people....learning everything and anything...can't get enough.
What else am I into....?
Beaches, Bar b Que,all-night parties, good times with friends, wine and cheese, happy people, characters, gardening, hunting, fishing, drinking, cooking, smoking, day dreaming, working with my hands, motorcycle rides, sunsets and rises, event planning, live shows and DJ's, being awkward(courtesy of my friend Kelly), people watching, dancing and phylisophical, deep conversations plus many more I cant think off right now...

Hooked up solar power for a village in Venezuela, saved a life, served in Presidential Guard, served during war, cooked for celebrities, dinner with President, been to 300+ funerals, traveled parts of the world, made great friends, ....mmmmmmmm
