Currently I am living in Gainesville where I am studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florida. Previously I have lived in Los Angeles, Chicago and South Florida.

I have been taking advantage of internships while at University as a way to experience new cities. So far I have done internships in Philadelphia, Jupiter and Tampa. If I can get one more in before graduation, I might like to see if I can get out to Colorado.

When I travel, I like to explore! Whether it be a new city or a mountain trail head, I love to see and experience new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Short Term:
Planning a motorcycle trip from Gainesville, FL to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Washington DC. Although I have friends at each of my destination cities, I don't know anyone between here and there so I am hoping to surf on my way up.

I will be taking an Auto Train back which will be pretty exciting too!

Long Term:
I want to share experiences with other explorers. It is great to hear from a native about their area; there is only so much you can discover about a new place through google.

Interests

I am a computer-programming, motorcycle-riding, former downhill skateboarder. I love all action sports and any kind of racing. I also like hiking, walking around cities, and finding cool cafe's and hangouts.

Defeated a downhill skateboarding world champion to win the 2009 Glendora Mountain Road California Republic Outlaw Standup Series, fulfilling two years of hard training.
