My name is Brett Simek. I am a 24 year-old business professional & I live in Lexington, KY. I graduated from the University of Kentucky May of 2013 with a degree in Marketing/Management &International Business. Enjoy all kinds of sports, staying active, trying all kinds of foods (staying in tune with all the new restaurants & breweries), concerts (Anything from EDM, Hip-Hop, Rock, Country & Reggae), love to travel & have new experiences, outside sales is my profession & I love the art & science or sales. I think I only read 1 or 2 books for pleasure while I was in College... I have recently picked up reading as a hobby & try to read 1 book a week as a continued goal of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled all over Europe @ 20 years old. Lived in Vienna, Austria for 8 months while studying @ The Vienna University of Economics and Business. Embarked on my journey solo & met lifelong friends & had some of the best experiences of my life. Most recently went on a solo three week journey to Thailand once again saw and experienced things I will never forget and made lifelong friends. I know this is not necessary something specific or one thing, but these are the experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today.

Teach - My outside sales position here in Lexington, KY requires that I am in tune with all of the new businesses that are opening.. with that being said I work with many of the local business owners; everything from restaurants, breweries, indoor trampoline parks, fitness facilities, country clubs, horse parks, distilleries/wineries etc. Would be able to show a traveler a good mix of what Lexington, KY has to offer.
