My motto (which I'm working on) is "Fortune rewards those who seek it", which is a slight variation on an old latin proverb, or so wikipedia tells me.

Two couches down, two good experiences. But its a lot more difficult that I had assumed. The forums were great in helping me travel in Iceland!

Interessen

Interesting people grab my attention.
I spend my time planning my next trip (even while I'm still on one!)
I'm into Adventure racing, which is a triathlon with a map (there isn't anyone telling you where to go). But, with all the traveling, I'm far too unfit to compete any more :-(
Skiing, Mountain biking, Kayaking (whitewater) and more.

My taste in music is very wide. But I'm not overly in love with live music (gasp).

I have a long list of movies but only a few that get 9/10 or 10/10.

Crazy taxi rides in India.
Saw a black bear, then a grizzly, then a BIG grizzly in Glacier national park, USA.
Fallen over in front of a tiger.
Hiked up from the chairlift at the remarkables in Queenstown, NZ to the lookout.
Hiked half dome & angels landing, USA.
Flew on a commercial DC3.
Saw the cherry blossoms in Tokyo.
And my cover photo was a lot of fun.
