About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have a good time...all the time

ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I like to have a good time way too often and that I look way younger than I actually am. I am a total thrill seeker and adrenaline junky as long as it is mostly legal and I won't end up in the hospital. I'm pretty outgoing and active. Triathlons pretty much consume me in the summertime and skiing takes over in the winter. I love riding anything with 2 wheels - bicycles, dirt bikes, and street bikes. I have one of each to keep me occupied. My dream job is to be ski patrol or groomer on a mountain that has year round skiing like Zermatt, Switzerland or Mt Hood, Oregon. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, from different background and cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is all based on decisions. I try to live my life by not regretting any of the decisions I make while still living in the moment and taking advantage of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a bunch of awesome CouchSurfers when I was living in Charleston, SC. If you ever get a chance to visit, meet up with the CSers there and they will show you all the local nooks and crannies of that city.

I'm still pretty new to CouchSurfing and have had only one experience so far and it couldn't have been better! Everyone in this community is so like-minded, it is hard to find someone you don't get along with.

Interests

Triathlons, skiing, motorcycles, movies, the Olympics (summer and winter), laughing, smiling, traveling, camping tent style, dancing like fool, music of all genres except screamo (I am on a big oldies and show tunes kick), Broadway Shows, beer, wine, eating local food wherever I am, health and well-being, acro yoga, KARAOKE! and pretty much anything that gets me outside

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anchorman, 300, Euro Trip, The Reaping, Team America - World Police, Super hero movies

Music: I listen to everything ranging from oldies to classical, pop, hip-hop, rap, rock, punk, alternative, house/dance/dubstep but I just can't handle screamo

Books: Still obsessed with the Harry Potter series. I can't help myself. I started reading them since I was in 3rd grade and is the only book series I actually finished. Also enjoy military novels like Flyboys, Flags of Our Fathers, Lone Survivor, and Seal Team Six.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

#1 -- Literally doing flips n' sh*t in front of the Matterhorn in Switzerland

#2 -- Cycling the rim of Crater Lake followed by a very chilly swim in the lake

#3 -- My first sky dive at North Shore in Hawaii

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll admit I'm not the greatest teacher in the world but for a bachelor my cooking isn't too bad. I can also teach you how to change the oil on your car and other basic automotive stuff. Or hey, if you even feel like skiing or learning more about triathlons, I can help you with that too :)

I get some weird kicks in life, and right now I wouldn't mind learning how to fence or tap dance.
