Host when I can. Attend local Charleston, SC Couch Surfing events. Get to know those surfing in the area.

Hitting the water by relaxing on the beach or being out on the boat. I'd like to say I have a green thumb, but I kill most of my plants :-( still working on that one.

Lived in the Gold Coast of Australia while studying abroad in undergrad. Bought a Toyota Corona station wagon with some Brazillian friends while there and was able to go to the Byron Bay Blues and Roots Music Festival, currently called Byron Bay Bluesfest.
Climbed Mt. Adams in Washington state for a good friend's bachelor party. Crampons, ice ax and all!
