Hello! I'm an animal lover first, and travel lover second. After my first trip to Rio de Janeiro in 2007 at the age of 18, I have never been satisfied with staying in one spot. My boyfriend Ryan and I have been together for 2 blissful years with many more to come. A travel partner is much more of a commitment than marriage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and I took a 35 day trip to Greece, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain in summer 2016. We made our return November 2016. Now, we are wanting to experience the culture of the world on a budget, not just live the lavish tourist life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music but classic rock is what I listen to when I need to get things done.
I am not a huge cinema fan. There are many classics that I have yet to see. Comedies are my favorite genre.
I have not read many books outside of school. I do not seem to have the attention span.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the night of the presidential election 2016, the results broke our hearts. Ryan and I IMMEDIATELY booked tickets to Europe for 6 months to travel and escape. It is one of the most daring, selfish, rewarding things I could never imagine.

I love anatomy and physiology. I have a passion for knowing how and why the body does what it does. I also enjoy making and eating food.
