About Me
Hello! I'm a musician and writer from New York, originally from Salt Lake City. I'm trained as a classical pianist, and I work as a technician for Steinway pianos in Astoria, Queens. I also wrote and organize with Left Voice, an online magazine associated with the Izquierda Diario network of socialist publications.
I've hosted people from across the world when I lived in Harlem; temporarily unable to host due to my living situation, but hope to do it again one day!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share
Anything about music, especially weird and unusual music! Very interested in different local customs of music-making, whether traditional or contemporary. I also love to learn about the local and regional political landscape, and learning about/ connecting with activist struggles happening wherever I am!
What I Can Share with Hosts
mostly good conversation! I know a lot about new york, about Mormonism, about leftist theory and history, and about obscure music ☺️. I'll also tune your piano, if you have one!
