I have a bunch of friends who have used couch surfing before, and with quite a bit of success, so I thought I would give it a try too.

I'm coming to Copenhagen this autumn and winter to work with the National Institute of Human Rights there, but hopefully I'll have some extra time and money to see the country and meet people.

Since I'm coming from out of the country, it's hard for me to get an apartment straight away, so couchsurfing seems like a good way to find a place to stay for a bit while I'm figuring out the city.
