I have been traveling, volunteering and working abroad since May 2007.

My trip began with backpacking through Thailand and Laos. While in Thailand I visited an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai. I loved it so much I decided to stay and volunteer as a tour guide for 3 months. The sanctuary rescues elephants treated horribly in the tourism industry and gives them a safe a comfortable life.

After Thailand I went to Vietnam September 2017 to volunteer teach English to low income students. I only planned on staying for one month but fell in love with teaching and the country.

I am looking to travel as meet new people. While traveling I enjoy befriending the locals so I can take in as much of their culture as possible. I love to make new friends as well :)
