About Me

Theater Artist Auteur, world traveler, foodie and cook, gardener, writer/designer/director/producer/actor, massage therapist

I have traveled through Europe and look forward to being housed again so that I may host. I have not found kindness in Long Beach yet. Because of this I am probably leaving CA at som point in time.

I am gay and physically disabled. I was recently and illegally evicted and have been living in a motel. I have run out of cash for the month and I know no one in this state to assist me for a few days.

NO ONE ON COUCHSURFER has been kind enough to take me in for even a night. I offer my professional website and my Facebook profile as references. If you understand how little help there is in this city then I ask you to consider that I am legitimately in need of a safe place to sleep until payday puts me into an apartment on September 2.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was illegally evicted. I am disabled and was not able to overcome the barriers.put in my way by the management company. I was bedridden and could not get a lawyer in time. A lawsuit is impending. However I Amin need of a bed until I move into a new apartment on September 2.

Interests

Spiritual fulfillment. Massage and other healing therapies. World cuisine. Sustainability. Social maturity and health. Psychological interpersonal investigation and connection. Experimental music and theater. Performing arts of all kinds. Museums.

Music, Movies, and Books

All music has its place in my life... Just not too loud my nerves are oversenaitive.
Movies are usually SciFi.
Books are usually reference books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a massage therapist on the terminally ill for some time. This put me in touch with their health and spirit and subtle energies on a daily basis. From that bandage I served to assist the spirit our of the body with ease and love. This gave me the vantage point to stand inside the tunnel of white light and see for myself their gentle exit and help them pass into the hands of those on the other side.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught workshops in Puppetry and Mask performance. I worked for Brown University for five years. In grad school I studied Puppetry at CalArts, undergrad was in theater performance at University of Memphis. I've participated in many artists workshops such as Willa Shallot, James Glavan, Susan Chrietzburg, Shozo Sato, Eugene O'Neal International Puppetry Conference.
