Born July 10th, 1980 in Brooklyn NY, left hospital and was raised in Staten Islans, NY.
Grew up going on family trips to the zoo, feeding the local ducks, and taking a trip to mountains in upstate NY every year, where my love for nature and the outdoors was born catching frogs and living in a cabin in the woods at a lake for what always seemed like the shortest two to three weeks of the year.
Joined cub scouts in Kindergarten and made Eagle Scout at age 16, volunteers over 400 hours at Staten Island zoo over junior high and high school. School bands as a drummer through high school. Met my wife in high school marching band! :)
Worked at a mom and pop pet shop In Staten Island forever. Struggled through college, two months at Rutgers, followed by 5.5 years poking around at community college. Left with only a 2 year degree and lots of 100 and 200 level credits. Never went back to pursuing teaching degree in secondary education in science despite 6 years as a paraprofessional for the NYC DOE. Left DOE to build my business I was 4 years into in 2007 and never looked back.
Happily married with 2 wonderful kids, and itching to see as much of the world as possible, with them for sure, but also on my own a little here and there.

I have always been interested in alternative ways to experience new places. I love meeting new people, make friends easily, and believe in a world where everyone is looking out for everyone else. I have begun to loosely plan a couple of different solo trips that I never got to take when I was younger, and my young family may not quite be ready to travel as rough and spontaneously as I would like.
Two years ago, I began section hiking the appalachian trail, and not knowing exactly where you will end up each day and who you will meet, had re sparked my interest in things like couch surfing, hitch hiking, and backpacking. Sharing adventures with new people, even for one night, or one ride, or one mile, is exciting to me.

Punk Rock, mostly of the pop variety as far as Music, but as a musician (drummer) enjoy most genres, and love exposure to new artists.
Star Wars original trilogy as far as most watched lol. Enjoy good drama movies and action movies.
When i do have the time to read, i definitely prefer non fiction/

I teach and share my passion for animals and nature for a living. I made a living out of "does anyone want to see my pets" lol.

I have come to a point in my adult life where i am more interested in learning new things, and learning more about things I already enjoy.

LIFE IS RIGHT NOW. We can't put off the things that we want in this life, because they will never come.

I am an Eagle Scout, and to this day, 24 years after this achievement, I still love by most of its principals. I believe if everyone truly did this, the world would be a better place.
I am easy going, mostly humble, honest, and hard working, and very driven to be what I believe is a genuinely good person who also wants the next person to be their best.
I have always been interested in teaching people, if i can, anything I may know how to do, teamwork, sharing ideas, promoting personal growth in friends, listening, etc.
I have adventured in and/or explored a city/cities in 33 of these United States so far, with 34 already set!
