About Me
Who I was just a year a go is not who I am now. I was a lazy nomad. Wanting to travel for years but doing very little to achieve. I cheated a life threatening condition and got motivated.
I want to meet people of the world and gain the life experiences that I have chosen to evade for far to long.
I have a positive outlook of life and very few of life stresses phase me. Life's to short eh?
If I could I would just travel until the ruck sack became to heavy for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For a while now I have felt that I have been stagnating and my world has become smaller. I want to throw myself out there and do some vagabonding in the place where it became a thing. The USA. I am looking couchsurf as I don't want to live in hostels with other brits or tourists (not a travelling snob, honest) as I want to meet people who are not like me. I will stay in hostels at some point I am sure but that will not show me what locals know, where to go to get the inside scoop about wherever I am.
Can't lie, budget plays a part as I have no idea if I can do a similar trip again in the future but that is the secondary to meeting people.
I want to mix

Music, Movies, and Books
Taste in music is so eclectic and I will listen to all good music but heavy metal and RnB I just don't get. The Verve, Doors and Pink Floyd are my faves though.
Movies-Coen Brothers are class and love the Hudsucker Proxy. Anything that favours story over FX is OK in my book. That being said I do love syfi but a plot is important.
Tom Robbins- Still Life with a Woodpecker is brilliant. Have read it 6 or 7 times and still puts a smile on my face.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After 3 weeks of knowing a girl I up and moved cities for a girl I loved. It did not work out however feeling that alive and willing to leave what you know behind for a total fresh start is a pretty scary and exhilarating. Sometimes we just have to throw the dice and and see what happens.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Can cook a fine meal and share a (funny???) tale or two.
