Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its the best way to really get to know an area, having a host who really wants to share their knowledge and experience. I also don't think that travel should only be for those who can afford to pay for accomodations. Travel should not be classist.

Interests

I love crafting and making things. I know a bit about how to work with lots of different kinds of crafts- woodworking, welding, leatherworking, sewing, etc. I always want to learn more and I would love to teach you anything I know.

-Scuba diving at Semporna in Borneo.
-Worked in a jungle retreat in Borneo.
-Drank with a mob boss in Papua New Guinea.
-Saved at least 2 human lives.

I'd love to learn about your neighborhood, your favorite restaurants, markets and venues... and trails! I love hiking, mostly stick to day hikes because of injuries but I love being out in nature.

I can fix things around your house if tools are available. I love doing repairs and making things work better/properly. I'll also cook a bunch of tasty food for you and leave your house cleaner than I found it.
