Hello!
I am American, born in Virginia, raised outside of Chicago, and I went to University in New York for the last four years. This past spring I graduated, got my CELTA, made some tentative plans to become an english teacher somewhere abroad, and booked a one-way flight to Japan. This was around mid-July, and I've been traveling around Asia ever since.

How to describe myself...
I'm a curious guy, always looking for new perspectives and fresh ideas to ponder. I read voraciously (right now I've been on a kick through the post-modernists). I love to meet other travelers and chat about ideas and things, I find people always surprise me with the depth of their passions and their various eccentricities.

I'm also a really laidback guy. Easy to get along with, and happy to do whatever. One of my favorite things about traveling is having the opportunity to try things I would never get the chance to do back at home. And I'll try pretty much anything once.
