Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My travel experience is limited, and when I did travel it was always in a nice hotel and had nice dinners. I feel like this type of travelling is pretty typical, but I never felt that I got to experience the true flavor of a destination. The people and food were different, but other than that it never felt like I left home. I'm hoping by meeting locals, eating like the locals, and talking to locals will help me achieve this goal. I'm going to start small with some domestic travel, but an international trip will be in my future.

I can share my cheery demeaner, a few laughs, and also my experiences throughout my time in Nebraska, Iowa, and Indiana (and of course downtown Chicago!). I’m also an avid musician and will share my love for music! Ask me about the time I faceplanted in the RCA Dome (before Lucas Oil Stadium).
