Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I visited Europe in 1999 and have always wanted to return and finally have the time and resources to do so. I'd love to experience things from a locals' point of view and have next to no interest in the tourist side of things. I'm looking forward to meeting people and having interesting experiences, rather than just staying in hotels and following a guidebook.
