I would like to first say that yes, my profile is new. I don't have references as I have NEVER used Couchsurfing or couchsurfed. I am excited however to try this. It sounds like with the right match everyone can have a ton of fun.

I grew up in Vermont -very cold! Moved to Texas for college and pretty much have lived here ever since with the exception of living for a year in each of the cities NYC, Los Angeles, CA, and Washington D.C. I also spent time in Mexico, Brazil, and Costa Rica -of which I was there for two years.
In any case, just came back from traveling and looking to get back into the swing of things again here in NYC.
