I'm a 32 year old American who grew up in Hong Kong for 14 years. I've been to Thailand, Philippines, China, Japan, Taiwan, but all when I was a teenager. I decided that I would travel once a year throughout my 30s. So far I've been to Ireland, England, France, Italy, Austria, Hungry, Czech Republic, and Germany. I've got 8 more years to go and a lot of countries to see.

I'm a musician; I'm self taught in guitar and piano. I work doing lighting on movie sets in New Orleans, USA. I love photography and do it on the side as much as I can. You can see my photography work here:

I like to meet new people, especially local people in the places I visit. I don't like to stay in hotels. I love staying in hostels and I wanted to try couch surfing. Some of my best travel experiences have been when my friends organized something for us on couchsurfing.com.
