After being an exchange student in high school, I have dreamt of living abroad. My husband and I made that a reality in 2017 after buying our home in Merida, Mexico. We loved living in the Yucatan but due to aging parents, moved back to the US in 2025.

We equally enjoy traveling to other parts of the world. We like to entertain and share with others. We are the doting fathers to two Chihuahua-Jack Russells. We’re both still working, but looking forward to retirement and all the opportunities it will afford us.

My husband is a huge music fan and his list of favorite music is encyclopedic, but he generally likes lesser known alternative bands, punk, and rock music. I’m an 80’s kid so anything from that era.

We’re both fans of action movies, documentaries and comedies.

I love a whodunnit and am always reading some type of murder-mystery but will occasionally read biographies, historical fiction and other genres of books.

I love to cook and would like to learn to cook dishes from other parts of the world. I enjoy massage and am learning to hone my skills as a masseur. My Spanish is coming along…I forgot a lot after many decades, but it’s coming back. Ojalá que podremos placticar por un momento!
