About Me

Born and raised here in America but spent a good amount of time in Colombia. It's kind of funny but a recent trip inspired me to see more of the U.S. Both my folks were born and raised in Colombia and live here now. My father's a limo driver who knows New York better than I ever will and my mother's an accountant.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've got places to go while I can still walk and a hotel doesn't expose you to what people are like, you can visit a foreign place and know nothing about the most basic aspects of day to day living. This kind of thing suits me well and new people are great.

Interests

Really into music and open minded about most other art. Cinephile, big fan of Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, and the classics. Comedy is a passion of mine but most people will tell you I'm the joke, I use to do a lot of improv and stand up locally before schooling became a true focus. Languages and casual video games are neat too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas is great, Akira is an old favorite and so is Amores Perros. Clapton is probably my favorite artist, Cream's Disreali Gears my favorite album, MF DOOM my favorite rapper tied with Aesop Rock who I got to see live and is a sick linguist. Catch-22's a good read, and if you like boxing check out This Bloody Mary Is The Last Thing I Own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh just one because I must've done so many, well I guess I lead a clothing to Colombia when I was a kid and noticed someone my age couldn't even afford socks. Most clothes wound up being mine but hey, every last bit counts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a halfway decent cook and if I can be lazy and rely on Sazon I'll cook for ya just like the hispanic mother you never had. I'll clean and I know my way around a computer, even built my own. I'm also a decent conversationalist so hey, there's that.

Countries I’ve Visited
