About Me
*3/9 update*
I have had major reconstructive surgery and will not be hosting for quite some time :( but definitely reach out for any Connecticut advice you may need!
Always smiling. Born and raised in New England. Energetic and always curious, looking to really connect with local peoples and cultures along the way. Usually found on the beach, in the mountains, taking pictures, cooking elaborate vegetarian meals, or training for triathlons! Not sure what this journey will hold, but I know it’s going to be FUN. Share it with me...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Surfing - I’m always traveling and have found time and time again the most memorable experiences are to be had with really getting to know the area through locals. I often remember the people more than the places. If you can teach me about the history of your place I’ll sit idly listening for hours. Also always looking for people to be silly with. It doesn’t get any better than when you meet someone and share a great experience with, and then visit them again years down the line...
Hosting- it has always been in my nature to help people in any way that I can. My family grew up hosting foreign exchange students constantly, and it was such a rewarding experience I want to do the same for others.

Music, Movies, and Books
Obsessive about my music and movies and could talk about recommendations for hours. Indie rock will always be my number one (Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Radiohead...) but can also be sound belting show tunes and listening to Top 40 pop hits on repeat.
For movies, anything documentary and small budget stuff. But Back to the Future is the all time greatest film ever made. I really enjoy the movie going experience and I’ll die if you have a cool old theatre in your city.
Currently obsessing about food and food industry books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Constantly taking recyclables out of the trash and putting them in the bins.
Teach, Learn, Share
Definitely knowledgeable about food and nutrition if this is something you’re interested in. As well as fitness, they go hand in hand for me. I like to think that I can inspire people to be their best selves, as I’ve had a lot of life experiences, both good and bad. I’m also newly into photography and videography if you can teach me something about that realm!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m super handy and can fix and build things. I would love to share our life experiences. Also according to my references I am the worlds best Couchsurfing dishwasher.
