Finishing up my masters degree in Canada and planning to travel around Europe for a few months this summer. Enrolled in a month long course in Berlin to practice German, I am hoping to advance my capability quite a bit while there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to travel Germany and the surrounding countries and be able to see them from a local perspective. I really enjoy meeting new people and talking about, well anything, to people I don't (yet) know.

Interests

Hiking, walking around old towns and cities. Seeing the old castles of Europe learning about the old royal families, general European history.
Trying out new beers and local food.
Science and science fiction are very close to heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing to me. In my first visit to Germany, I met relatives I had never talked to or knew anything about. First step off the bus and I felt like I was with family that had known me all my life. Amazing feeling to know I had people who I had an instant connection to half-way around the world.
