Grew up in Texas. Went to school for drama, then spent several years teaching. I worked at an elementary school, then moved to Japan to teach English for a couple of years. Traveled throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America. After Japan, I went back to the States and joined the military. I worked on a ship out of Connecticut and now I've just recently moved here to Oahu.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't had the opportunity recently to go backpacking abroad like I used to and I miss the camaraderie that comes with meeting fellow travelers and people from all over the world. I thought I might host some people and if the experience is good, I might do some couchsurfing again myself once I take another trip abroad.
