ABOUT ME

Rookie doctor, training in emergency medicine in Detroit. Living life in the fast lane. I get paid to do CPR and give out pain pills. ;) Love to party. Eventual goal is to be a disaster relief doctor. Currently training in the heart of Detroit, in an ER that is a warzone on many days.

Very relaxed, easy going, outdoorsy type. Easy to get along with. Kind of talkative. Have big dreams to impact people with change for good in this world.

Lived in Costa Rica. Speak Spanish. (favorite place on earth.) Spent time working in an orphanage in Yurimaguas Peru, in the heart of the headwaters of the Peruvian Amazon. Still love my little kids and can't wait to get back there.

Spent a couple months in Blantyre, Malawi learning tropical emergency medicine. Africa was quite the experience.

When I travel, I do so without a plan usually. Like to soak in as much culture as I can. Aka, never been on a cruise or an all inclusive resort and no desire to do so.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is changing at an exponential pace. There are opportunities and people all over. The more we can cnnect minds and utilize as much human capital as we can, the better the world will be.

Been a hostel-goer all my life. Wouldn't have it any other way. Try to travel and see the world on a tight budget.

Have friends in Chicago and New York from college/med school who turned me on to this.
