About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience how Americans in different regions live and have fun, and to see the parks and cities that make this country great
ABOUT ME
I am a 33 years old and about to set out on a cross country trip. I am moving from Seattle to the east coast and am finally in a position to live out a life long dream of traveling across the south. I currently work as an Account manager at tech company in Seattle. I am quitting my job and moving back east. I very much would like to take my love for the outdoors into consideration on this trip and do some biking in Moab and hiking in the Parks around the Santa Fe. I have never been to New Orleans and am excited to see it and the rest of the Gulf coast.
I am a very laid back person in my free time and very driven at work. I am very much a middle of the road kinda guy. I am very comfortable with hippies and vegetarians and I am with conservatives and the corporate type, we have it all here in Seattle. I have a dry sense of humor and quick with the sarcasm. I good with obscure movie quotes and off the cuff puns. I really enjoy US history which is what makes this cross country trip so exciting. I've lived in the northwest almost all my life and really want to take advantage of a few weeks off to learn how others live and what makes there communities so exciting to them. I'm also a really bad amateur photographer so I am looking forward to using the back drop of America as my classroom for learning how to use this overpowered camera I picked up. (so if any of you have skill in that area that would be cool)
My biggest goal for this trip is to experience how other people live and what about their towns and cities makes them so cool or interesting. Several people I know suggested this community as a great way to do that so here goes.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a political independent, very middle of the road in most aspects of my life. I believe that it’s important to listen to all view points before forming your own. Dismissing other is the greatest way to make mistakes in your life.
Interests
Film, Baseball (hope to catch a few Minor league games along the way), food ( I cant wait to eat real Cajun food), Photography, US history, Hiking, Skiing (the thing I will miss most about the northwest will be having to give up on 30+ days a year of skiing in great vert all across Washington and Canada) A good beer on a porch chatting with friends, BBQ

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
