if you were to ask my best friends about me, I think they'd tell you that i'm open-minded and passionate. i love to meet new people and try new things. my favourite thing to do in the entire world is to laugh, laugh until it hurts and laugh until i cry. people also tell me i'm easy to get along with and always up for something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i finally had the chance to couchsurf when i was in london, if only for a night. and it was amazing!! couchsurfing was one of the coolest things i've ever done, for sure. i love the idea of opening your home to someone else and meeting new people - i love jut talking with people and sharing ideas and laughing and hearing about how people live that is different from how i live. this is my favourite part about this project. and as for hosting, my couch is available, right now in utrecht and then later when i'm home in canada!!

i love politics and reading and debating and writing. i love travelling and driving and flying and singing. i love dancing and running and learning and doing. i love women's studies and i love canada and i love knowing that i can leave and learn and see and do and be anywhere else in the world <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the most amazing thing i've done to date is move halfway across the world to Holland where I didn't know a soul... and i've loved every minute so far!

so far in Europe, the most amazing things i've done was see the Berlin wall, drink palinka in budapest, hike in a hailstorm in wales, fall asleep on the beach in Ibiza, see Springsteen perform live, watch a European football match, and met the most wonderful people.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach: basic french, any kind of english, piano, terrible dance moves and how to dance to cotton eye joe

i want to learn: more dutch, better french, how to play the guitar, anything about history

i can share: my couch and any baked goods i might have made or bought!! :)
