About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Love God, Love People, Nothing else matters.
ABOUT ME
Well, I make balloons, hang out, play trivia, drink, have fun, make furniture, travel, volunteer, and enjoy life.
PHILOSOPHY
A friend of mine has his religious views on facebook summed up as "I'm a Christian, but I'm not an A**hole." That works well for me. My faith gives meaning and direction to my life, and a reason to help people, but I spend more of my time apologizing than proselytizing and I still know how to have a good time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've biked 1000 miles staying with strangers, traveled from Guatemala to Indianapolis by hitchhiking, buses, and third-class transport. I couch-surfed across Ireland, England, Scotland, and England with a few hostels thrown in too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've hosted a dozen or so groups at our house, and I've stayed with couch-surfers across the British Isles.
Interests
I love making balloons for folks and thus, have the coolest job in the world. I love taking my art overseas and volunteering with those who can use it. I make literally anything, including caricatures, every animal, a full sized biplane, and a 35 foot octopus.
I love building things too, from furniture to renovating our whole basement. I love taking the ugliest room and making it beautiful.
To hang out I love playing trivia, hashing, gaming, cracking puns, and doing crazy stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My roommate and I loaded up our bikes and a couple hundred bucks onto a greyhound bus to Denver with no training, no map, and no idea where we were going to sleep. Nearly 1000 miles later we'd traveled across 3 states and had some great stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught a few thousand people balloons and I'm pretty good at woodworking, so um, come on over and learn.
