Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas with one older brother.
I moved just outside of Portland, Oregon to attend college (studied Sustainable Design) and fell in love with this place. The people are great, the beer is good and the region is so beautiful.
I'm an INFP, so I'm generally quiet around strangers, but I'm consciously trying to let go of inhibitions and open up with people.

Interests

I have a passion for music. I write my own stuff and play in a couple bands. My main instrument is BASS. Love it.
I'm also into native/primitive cultures, building with mud, good food and beer and travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Nothing is more satisfying than jamming out to songs I've (co)written. I also love Grateful Dead and The Doors and Ween. I enjoy just about every type of music there is, from hip-hop to funk, disco to punk, jazz to rock 'n' roll and everything in between.
Movies: Baraka, Fight Club, Jungle Book, Quentin Tarantino films, documentaries/horror/comedy.
Books: Daniel Quinn, George Orwell, Spinoza, J.J. Rousseau, Peaceful Warrior series. I love reading philosophy. I love fiction that is rooted in some sort of social reality.
