I am a student at university in Florida in the US. I am majoring in Sociology in undergraduate and then I will be getting my Masters in Social Work so that I can work with children in the Foster Care system in the US. These are kids that no one cares about, the U.S. government does not give much resources and money to them so I feel that this is a great field to go into it. I want to be a postive influence in their life.
At university I volunteer with teenage girls in the foster care system and work on building up their self esteem and confidence as well as helping with homework!

I am couchsurfing because my experience with work away has shown me how little I know about other cultures and I don't know when I will be traveling again so I want to soak up as much culture as possible!
