I am open, outgoing, and genuinely love to meet new people.

I grew up in the Scottish Highlands and, whenever possible, love to get outdoors, whether this is on my bike or a climbing trip.

I am happiest when my home is filled with friends and family. I love to cook and enjoy feeding a crowd.

I try and travel as much as possible, but when my annual leave is used up, couch surfing allows me to continue to learn about new places.

My partner used couchsufing while on a recent trip cycling trip to Europe and met incredible people. Since then, we have hosted people from across the world.

So often when you travel you get stuck in the tourist areas, I think the best way to experience a new place is to stay with a local.

I think this app is a great way to meet interesting people, and we are currently using it both to host and when we travel.

I love any opportunity to get outdoors. I am currently climbing and cycling. I'm also attempting to get back into yoga and wild swimming.

When I'm home, I love to cook and read a good book.

I am not a good addition to a pub quiz team. Actors' names, movie titles, or years of release are not my strong points. I do, however, love a good film! My recent feel-good film is the intern (it's on Netflix)

I enjoy a good book and recently read cleopatra and frankenstein by coco mellors.

I have spent two weeks cycling from Nice in France to Milan in Italy. Camping at vine yards and staying with families from warm showers and coach surfing.
