I'm married to an awesome guy named Justin and in the two years we've been together we have easily gone on 3 dozen adventures together! (Mostly in the Southwest US).

Our favorite spots are canyons or anything that involves water and getting our feet wet! Waterfalls, beaches, springs, creeks, rives, and lakes! And we love getting high- on a mountain that is! Typically if we are on a mountain we love to summit.

I am a Christian and I am very loving and accepting of all types of people from all types of backgrounds and it is VERY difficult to offend me. I love chatting about nature and health and if I'm asked about politics and religion I will energetically offer my opinion but I don't necessarily seek out those types of conversations.

In case you were wondering what a teaching artist is, it's basically a teacher of arts without the degree! I teach things like drama, arts, and self reflection type classes for people of all ages. Mostly workshops but I'm also employed by Bridges as a preschool teacher!

We have a decent sized guest bedroom with its own bathroom. It has a pretty big shower in it too. It's not in Phoenix but we're like a 15/20 min drive from downtown. Probably closer to 30 with morning traffic. 10 mins from Tempe (college town), and 15 mins from Scottsdale (shopping and museum central).

Also, I was born and raised in Mesa AZ (the biggest suburb of Phoenix) and I know the entire Valley like the back of my hand. I know places to hike, eat, shop, and chill.

Allergy warning: I have a long haired type of cat. Very friendly but when my friends with allergies come over we have to lock 'em in the guest room and give out friend some allergy meds :/
