Hello all!

I am a Canadian business student who is finally getting a long awaited break to go explore the world. I've lived in Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City at one point or another. That pretty much covers most of the major cities in Eastern Canada so I'm an expert on -40°C to 40°C weather, poutine, small trees and big trees and medium trees and dead trees, wild caribou, igloo construction and especially polar bears.

Obviously, most of that is untrue. In reality, I only know 6 to 30°C weather because the rest of the time I avoid the outdoors.

I'm kind of a quiet person but I open very quickly to anyone who's friendly. I'm not a drinker and I do not enjoy nightclubs. I'm more the type of person who enjoys going around taking photos of bridges and colourful doors. To each their own.

I've only ever traveled across Canada and into the southern United-States but I'm looking forward to an upcoming trip across Europe in the Spring of 2017.

I'm very new at couchsurfing but I'm excited to try it and to meet bunches of great people from all kinds of backgrounds. Getting a glimpse into entirely different lives is an exciting prospect.

The sights are great when you're travelling, but you can get the same pictures online and you create experiences that are shared by millions of other people. What really makes a trip unique is the people you meet.

I watch a lot of TV series. My favorite shows are Orphan Black, How to Get Away with Murder, The 100, Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Downton Abbey, Archer, Boy Meets World, Roseanne, Friends, The IT Crowd, The Inbetweeners, Pretty Little Liars, Law and Order SVU, Girls, etc.

I'm into all types of music with unique sounds. I'm really into listening to covers. Overall I'm not too picky :) My guilty pleasure is Pentatonix a capella haha.

I've slept in a cave inhabited by bats once before. It was pretty damp.
