looking to see the globe and make friends. a staunch defender of the power of music despite many artists attempt to destroy the medium. into most things that take place outdoors. skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding are givens. trekking in big mountain territory is fun. a bit of a film nerd. big time political geek. chomsky and zinn and the nation and sometimes tv stuff. mostly documentaries and democracynow. a steady diet of bukowski for literature.

networking with strangers to make the world less hostile. see current mission. looking to extend my palace, when i have one, to outsiders so as to help break some of the barriers americans tend to place around their little island.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

matt enright's place in prague for a few weeks in the czech republic, various campgrounds in europe. bottom rung hotels in latin america, guatemala city to caracas to punta arenas. sabatini's place in SF provided me with plenty of golden opportunities to find trouble in that great city. langley's in orange. brief east coast stint in massachusetts on a cat named bev's couch.

skateboarding but not really skateboarders as they are, by and large, an ignorant lot. film. trekking/camping in remote mountains. snowboarding. surfing. politics. hanging with interesting, creative people. amnesty international and human rights. promoting dissent.
