ABOUT ME
I have a problem with routine but I do enjoy my little rituals. What I like about the way I live my life is that every day is different. I am very patient and open-minded but have no tolerance for certain things - racism, for instance, is a kind of ignorance I can't understand.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live...
“The reward for conformity is that everyone likes you but yourself.”
Rita Mae Brown
"The real truth is I probably don't want to be too happy or content. Because, then what? I actually like the quest, the search. That's the fun. The more lost you are, the more you have to look forward. What do you know? I'm having a great time and I don't even know it."
Ally McBeal
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Bojana (Serbian) and Sam (North American) were the first to enjoy my cooking and couch in Portugal, in 2005. I have to say it I loved having them around.
As to myself as a couchsurfer, I met one of my best friends this way: I crashed at Andy's place in Brixton, London for a whole month when I was 19.
But that was before this website came into being. I've made some good friends through it since I joined, just before moving to London.
Interests
Trees, fairy tales, nature, puppets, libraries, cycling, yoga, hiking, reading, red wine and food.
I love the ocean - that's one of the things I miss most in London (and Portuguese bread).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best is yet to come...
Teach, Learn, Share
Some people find my optimism annoying, but maybe they could learn something from it. A lot of drama can actually be shrugged off with a "so what?".
And I'm a good cook!
