About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hey!
Right now I am in the process of moving to France for a year (maybe more) to get better at French, cooking, explore the other half of my heritage (I very fortunate to have duel citizenship) and see what it's like living long-term in a different country! I'm currently figuring out where I'd like to live. Lyon and Paris are at the top of my list. If you have any thoughts on them, I'd love to talk!
ABOUT ME
Food and laughing are my two favorite things in this life. I'm especially fond of corny jokes (corn, jokes... food, laughter...). Somehow however, I'm not a fan of Gallagher (funnily enough I just googled his name to get the correct spelling and what do you know... in most of his pictures he's dressed up as a "stereotypical" Frenchman. Weird.). I'm also really into biking, skating, reading, writing, art and movies.
PHILOSOPHY
"Charming company turn lowly sandwich into rich banquet." - Charlie Chan

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz, Non-Fiction, Rock, Indie. Kurt Vonnegut is one of my favorite authors. Lucky Peach is one of my favorite cook-book-magazines. Louis Armstrong nourishes my soul.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a weeklong road trip with my friend Yannick and stayed in a different national park [USA] each night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can practice English or French with you, show you the best way to deseed a pomegranate and then tell you about the etymology of that word, how to juggle 3 balls in 15 minutes and the basic rudiments of playing a full kit drum set. I'm also apprenticing at a restaurant in Austin so I could show and cook for you a bunch of my favorite recipes!
I love learning!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Show me your favorite market and I'll cook you a delicious meal full of love!
