Having been brought up on a farm in Yorkshire, UK, I developed a love the countryside and animals and enjoy nothing better than getting away from the bustle of the coast to walk my dog and find a nice restaurant for a bit of lunch. Equally, I enjoy a long lazy lunch/BBQ in the garden. By accident I discovered the world of yachting and as a result travelled extensively through my work as a chief stewardess on private yachts. I'm shore based now and living of the South of France and still involved in the industry working full-time.
In general, I am easy going and I have no problems getting along with anyone and everyone from all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things and sharing experiences. I live alone with Cimba, my little jack russell and although quite happy by myself, I do enjoy a bit of company from time to time.

I have good knowledge of the Alpes Maritimes and Provence which I can share and when free, I enjoy showing guests around especially if it involves a ride out somewhere in the car.

Would welcome a bit of help in the garden or a bit of DIY. Nothing major. Or anyone that is a bit IT savvy could give me pointers on the laptop as I'm a bit of dinosaur when it comes to computers.
