Hi! My name is Bridget, I am 23 years old and travelling somewhat indefinitely. I enjoy writing, reading, swimming, learning new skills ans immersing myself in new cultures. I’ve done a lot of volunteer work in Morocco and Mauritania, where I’ve worked as an English and Spanish teacher, a farm hand, kitchen assistant, and receptionist. I also had the opportunity to help build mud brick houses in the desert, and stay at the first orphanage built in Mauritania. I’m so thankful for these very special experiences and I can’t wait to continue exploring and learning.

I’m currently travelling through West Africa. Senegal/Gambia (April, May, June), Guinea (July)

I love to travel and meet new people who can expand my outlook on the world and life. The more I travel the more I realize sometimes the most impactful thing about the places you go is the connections you make with the people you meet.

I love all music except maybe techno but I can still get down with some techno if I’m with some fun people. My favourite book is “My absolute darling” by Gabriel Talent and I have no clue what my favourite movie is.

Je peux lir, écrire, et parler un peu au Français mais que je suis toujours un débutant. I know a few phrases in Wolof but it’s hard to learn and remember two languages at once!!!!
